Pricing

No price list, and here is why

Arrangements are built per booking rather than sold from a tier, so a published rate would be wrong for almost everyone reading it. What follows is what actually moves the number.

In short

There is no fixed price list: what a booking costs depends on how long it runs, what it includes and when in the year it falls — tell the desk those three and you get a figure rather than a range.

  • Built per booking, not picked from a tier.
  • Three things move it: duration, scope, season.
  • You get a figure, and what it covers, before committing.

Three things that move the number

In the order they matter. Nothing here is a surcharge invented at the end — they are all knowable before you commit.

01

How long it runs

An evening and several consecutive days are different arrangements, not the same one multiplied. Longer bookings are quoted as one thing.

02

What it includes

Companionship on its own, or with transport, or across several areas. Distance is real — a long drive is part of the cost, not hidden in it.

03

When in the year

Peak months are tighter and the good venues go first. It affects availability more than it affects the rate.

Ask what a figure covers before agreeing to it. Any service that will not answer that question plainly has told you something.

Why a published rate would mislead you

A rate on a page has to assume a standard booking, and there is not one. Two people asking for "an evening" mean different things by it, in different areas, on different dates.

So the number would be right for whoever it was written around and wrong for everyone else — and the ones it was wrong for would find out late. A figure from the desk takes a minute longer and is actually the price.

Getting a figure

Three lines in a message is enough

You do not need to have decided anything. These three turn a reply into an actual number.

  1. 01

    The dates

Approximate is fine. It tells the desk whether you are in a tight month before anything else is discussed.

  2. 02

    The area

Where you are staying. Distance is a real cost, and it is the detail people leave out most often.

  3. 03

    The shape

One evening, several days, with or without transport. Enough to quote against rather than guess at.

The reply comes back with a figure and what it covers. If the dates do not work, you are told that instead of being quoted for something that will not happen.
